This is a slide of our first Easter together! I was really excited about getting together with the family and taking pictures...but it didn't really turn out as planned. You see, all day Saturday Luke was really cranky. I just figured he was teething. Then that night he ran a temperature. We were really worried that Luke was sick. We checked on him through the night. He did fine with just one dose of tylenol.
The next morning he woke up with a fever. We called the family and told them what was going on. Everyone agreed that we should stay put. I was really sad. I wanted his first easter to be really special...instead we spent the day stuck in the house.
Well, we took pictures anyway and gave him his baskets (we got the easter candy!). Then we read Luke the story of Jesus. He really paid attention to me as I read! I was so excited to see him looking at the book and listening to me.
Later he got a bit cranky again so I just leaned over in his face and started acting goofy. I stuck out my tongue and made a rasberry noise...he stuck his tongue back out at me!!! I couldn't believe it! He was immitating me! He's been doing a lot of imitating the last few days and I just love it! He's growing so fast! I love him so!
